TEAM: OPEN HOUSE OF AMAZONAS HIGH SCHOOL
INTRODUCTION
During the school year Open Houses are presented with different themes, with a view to students to demonstrate the knowledge acquired in the classroom and to encourage participation and creativity. In such events students are the main players and multipliers of knowledge.
Open houses of the English class took place on Monday 23 May this year beginning at 10:30 am during second "I" which talked about "Ecuador, a country multidiverso" I try to tell what my colleagues explained to the public present.
To my open house is a space that is decorated and exposed to a particular topic. In which people come, look, question any information, detail or tasting or there. Exhibition which talks about given topic, the stand is decorated according to the theme and go to work as if in a real workspace.
Open House objectives include promoting the creation and artistic, political, environmental disclosure and promote citizen participation; and that was what made the course manager who sacrificed much and spent much time on the issue deepening on the subject in question. The most fundamental purpose of this open house is to recognize the cultural and tourist places that owns Ecuador and generate viewers with a sentimineto I pride for their homeland.
The main theme of the open house was Ecuador and its tourist sources and Open House wants to be a meeting point for the expression of our colleagues; an autonomous place that encourages collective participation through recreational, cultural, social and artistic activities; an open space to those who want to contribute and / or participate. Arouse excitement and curiosity in students.

At the open house they spoke of certain tourist sites that explain below:
The bun
The bagel is a natural elevation of 3,000 meters above sea level, nestled in the heart of the city of Quito (Ecuador) itself. It is the most visited site in the city. Because of its location it has become the most important natural viewpoint of the city, from which you can appreciate the urban layout of Ecuador's capital, from its historic center and to the north and south. The bagel is topped by a giant aluminum sculpture of "Virgen de Quito", created by Agustín Spanish de la Herran Matorras, which was based on the work composed by Bernardo de Legarda, one of the most important representatives of the School quiteña.
Cotopaxi National Park
Cotopaxi National Park is a protected area located in Ecuador Latacunga Canton in the Province of Cotopaxi in Ecuador. Inside the park and in the territory of the province of Cotopaxi is the snow-capped Cotopaxi Volcano. It was the first national park to be established in the mainland of Ecuador and the country's second.
Its ecosystem is home to several arboreal species, especially pine, making the place in a South American pinífero, like all Andean forest species of cypress, pine, spruce and ash trees is indispensable. It is currently restricted public access, after the revival of Cotopaxi Volcano in August 2015, following the declaration of a yellow alert on the volcano.
The Chapel of Man
The Chapel of Man is an art museum, built in Quito, Ecuador initiated by the Ecuadorian painter Oswaldo Guayasamin in tribute to the human being. It was declared by UNESCO as a "priority project for culture" and by the National Government as "cultural heritage of the Ecuadorian state."
The project was conceived in 1985 by the Colombian Architect Luis Felipe Suarez Williams, but the building only began in 1995 and ended in 2002, after the artist's death. The iconic building opened on November 29, 2002, it is part of Guayasamin Foundation, and is adjacent to the "Museo Casa-Taller Guayasamín" the residence where the Master lived his last years, and in the north is projected another building where they work museums with archaeological collections of art, Colonial and Contemporary everything assembled with parts and works donated by Oswaldo Guayasamin.
Monument to the Middle of the World
Monument Walk with busts of the honorees. The or hemispheres are separated by the yellow line. The Middle of the World is a land owned by the prefecture of the province of Pichincha, Ecuador. It is located in the parish of San Antonio Metropolitan District of Quito, north of downtown Quito.
The main attraction is the monument to the Middle of the World, which is aimed at highlighting the exact location of the equator and Ecuador, which the country takes its name, and also highlight the Franco-Spanish geodesic mission of the century XVIII which placed the approximate site through which passes the equator.
There is also the Middle of the World Ethnographic Museum, a museum about the indigenous ethnography of Ecuador. A small town surrounding the monument acts as a resort, featuring a replica of a Spanish colonial city called "Middle of the World".
The Basilica of the National Vow
The Basilica del Voto Nacional, also called the Consecration of Jesus or Basilica of St. John (for the sector in which it is located) is a religious building in neo-Gothic style of the historic city center of Quito DM. Given its size and style is considered as the greatest Gothic temple of America. It is located in the area known as Santa Prisca, Carchi and Venezuela in the streets next to the Convent of the Oblate Fathers
Church of San Francisco
The whole Church and Convent of San Francisco is a Catholic building stands in the middle of the historic center of Quito, facing the square of the same name. The imposing structure has the privilege of being the architectural ensemble of larger within historical centers throughout America, 1 and therefore is known as "the Escorial New World" .2 San Francisco is also a jewel of architecture continental for its amalgam of different styles harmoniously combined throughout its more than 150 years of construction.
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THE OPEN HOUSE.
Participation liked the way my colleagues were expressed on stage and I liked that emphasize the tourist places leading to the Ecuadorian pride that is implemented in the minds of students. I also liked that there is good participation of all my colleagues to open house goes well. I liked that the English class has done much emphasis in our country and its tourist powers. The open house was very well done and had no more error.
WHAT I DID NOT LIKE ABOUT THE OPEN HOUSE.
I did not like much that people were talking not understand them. Sometimes they are not even listened with some exceptions. I did not like that they have made the open house in a small way. I did not like that the dancers who need space are very narrow in their bailey that could not be moved easily because the place was very narrow. I did not like that partners in the house open and guests are making noise and decentralizing those who were exposing.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion the open house was very well done with their problems but are lower because with good exposure are not very noticeable. I thank my colleagues for their very good development and good exposure scene that took place on Monday and I thank the licensed Sarita Orellana for his insistence that the open house goes well. After the open house I left satisfied was I wanted to see about our country.
